So at his festive time of year i would like to explain the tradition of the Xmas tree and the fairy on top.
Many years ago in a land far away their lived a little fairy princess who was sad at christmas time becauase all the houses were plain and no-one had ever heared of decorations.
She decided she would create a tradition to brighten the lives of the towns folk using simple items like coloured balls, tinsell, a fir tree and some stickyback plastic.
Once all the items were collected she skipped off to the first household, and knocked on the door.
The door swung open and there stood a half drunk neanderthol swaying precariously in the door way.
"I am the Christmas Fairy" said the Christmas Fairy"I bring you tidings of great joy and stuff at this wonderous time of year, I also bring you this tree which i have decorated and it will brighten your house, where shall i stick it"
A scuffle ensued..........................
And even to this day, households all round the world celebrate and remember this kindly event by decorating their homes with a little fairy and a decorated fir tree rammed up its arse.
