Went to H & R this morning and met my new boss, after going over paperwork and a few things about the company we went out to the vehicle park to have a look around the vehicle. i was very surprised to see that the tractors were a lot smaller than i expected, the wheels were tiny. Also the suzies are completely different. Now i have sat in one i cant wait to get started, its a shame we have to come back to england but i suppose the house has got to be sold.
Later went looking at cars, had a test drive in a Jeep Cherokee Liberty and i think that is going to be the car for us.
Good luck with your new job in Canada when you return! And remember, the steering wheel is on the left over here! LOL

I was wandering about the steering wheel thing, does that mean the shot gun has to drive.

ReplyDeleteYes we are completely at home in Canada, we have found our place.
I really enjoyed working at Wincantons and as you can read from the blog, i swore i would never come off the agencies but when my agency lost the Wincanton contract i signed up to stay there.
Over here is a completely different world and i dont just mean the trucks and roads, its more of a sub culture within a culture.
Anyway, great to hear from you, im in North Dakota at the moment and i have to be in Chicago tomorrow morning so i had better haul some ass.
Lyndon
