Well BE has lost a great asset. Even though you could use a different emaill address and re-register, but somehow I get the immpression you will be glad not to have dealings with them anymore?
Is there any other sites worth using, as to be honest BE is crap now?
Lyndon, I wish you and your family well, and thanks to your input we are now looking at booking flights for a recce trip and interviews - so may see you on the road sometime!
Keep it going Lyndon, this has been a fantastic read so far and so informative, BE has lost a major contributor to its forums, its gripping stuff mate and I look forward to reading the latest everytime I get home. All the best to you and your family Lyndon. Regards Paul (Rudds1)
I dont think i will be on British expats any more but i still do want to help people, i am trying to put as much into the blog as i can, if theres anything you want to know please feel free to ask, if i dont know i will try to find out.
Gremmie if you think i am scared of a few little bumps in the road you are sadly mistaken...
Remember you are talking to a Praires driver, we do mountains, deserts, even ice roads.....
For what it's worth, here's another perspective. I don't know what was said on the forum but if I owned H&R here's what would be on my mind: 1. Will your comments help or hinder me from finding drivers? (Its near impossible to find any workers in AB) 2. Are you devuldging company hiring proceedures that give competitive advantages? I'm not a lawyer or transport owner.
Now the ghastly truth. It doens't matter what you say-said. The company *could* sue you. I had a guy try and sue me for defamation because I published he was being investigated. (Which was true. He didn't sue because he had to file in my hometown so too expensive.) I would tread VERY carefully and stop using company's names. It's just not worth the grief.
All that said, this message to you is self-serving. Your blog is enlightening and I'd like to continue seeing you posts.
I hear what you are saying but its not really an issue, i am happy at H&R and they seem to be a good company to work for. From emails recieved i am possibly helping to recruit for the company, i have told the person who hired me excactly what i am doing. They are free to read the blog as is anyone else. If for any reason they asked me disassosiate my blog from the company, bearing in mind that this blog is owned by me and all the views expressed are my own, then of course i would compl but i dont think that would happen.
After all you cant beat a bit of free advertising.

You are giving your readers the good and bad. I guess that says something about them if they don't mind you publishing the WHOLE truth.
ReplyDeleteBTW: I locate truck parts so if you need anything...drop me a note.
