I assume big lumps of spud deep fried in dripping or lard and served in newspaper, as chips over here are what you "Limeys" call crisps LOL.
Yep there is a chip shop over in West Lethbridge who does fish and chips, kebabs and also curries.
Never been there myself but i have been told its pretty good, he is from oop north somewhere, Scunthorpe or Scarborough or somewhere and imports all his stuff in.
That's really ironic don't you think? You can't get English fish and chips anymore over here as they are all run by foreigners, but you can get "English" fish and chips in Lethbridge!!! Also run by a foreigner!!!! He,he....
Blog or no blog, i am NOT eating testicles for any one, fried boiled or even sat on a freaking pickled egg and cheese whizz boat.
Now if you want to make a video yourself of this American delicassy i will gladly post it.
Incidently i knew a chef who ordered sweetbreads and ended up getting the sack.
Oh yes another thing, did you know that "Cherios" are made out of dried rabbit anuses, not many people know that, so next time you might want to leave the brown ones on the side of the dish.
To prove my theory, leave a "Cherio" to soak then if you blow thru it, it makes a fart noise.
KNIFE......HOW BIG??????
ReplyDeleteLyndon, can you get chips in Lethbridge? Not the US version but the chip shop variety?
"dont push meeeee" (Trying to sound like Rambo.

Sorry Aaron
ReplyDeletei forgot to answer your question.
Yes the boats were my own brain child.
I have another idea for party food.
Hollow out a "Sassy Pickle" into a kayak, making a canoeist out of licorice and a glace cherry.
I cant decide whether it should sit in a river of gravy or custard.
