Travel Centers Of America or just (TA to us Highway Drivers) was just another Plaza or truck stop to me until today. At H&R we have a card lock list which we have to stick to so we dont get a lot of choice where we fuel up anyway.
I try to use Flying J coz i got an internet account with them but other than that they are all the same from my point of view. H&R pays for the juice so i guess they can choose where i buy it from.
Anyway back to the story, i was sat at my last drop and got a call from Kev & Lisa as i was supposed to meet up with them for a coffee and a chat. I told Kev i would meet them at the Pilot at Clearwater as that was closest to me and it was on their route. Then Lisa piped up in the background "You should be using TA not Pilot".
When i asked why, i was informed that i was in their magasine, well there was a TA 30 miles away so as soon as i was unloaded i scooted round and grabbed a few copies, sure enough there is an article about the internet and good old Lyndons Trucking Life gets a mention.
