States Visited Update
Heres a quick update, ive been here 6 months now and this is a map of all the states ive visited, i reckon ive seen more of Canada and the USA than most Canadians or Americans.
Thats pretty impressive Lyndon, so how are you finding the job at the half a year mark? I can tell from your pics, you 've seen some incredible landscapes. To bad they havn't sent you out east yet like New York City/Boston. That should be fun.
Cities dont really do alot for me, when you drive a truck you only tend to the arterial highways and industrial areas so one town is much the same as the other.
Never driven in the state of New York but i hear its all tolls and permits, wouldnt mind going up to Boston in Massetusetts though.
I am finding the job great so far and all the family are sill very happy here.
I am starting to ake an interest in the history of the continent especially to do with native american/first nation cultures and the early settlers and emigrants, and also how the 2 groups interacted in those early days. It doesnt make nice reading at all !!
you will like New York State. much like Wisconsin.TIM HORTONS on the thruway (i90)too. The tolls don't matter to me and besides you can always take I86 across the southern part of the state to avoid them. I don't have much good to say about the roads around Boston or the drivers.Nice scenery though. I'm from New Hampshire and if you like trees New England will be for you.
