Waiting around in Edmonton

Im sat at home at the moment, its Thursday lunchime and i will be phoning in, in a couple of hours to see where i am going tomorrow.

Heres a bit of an update...................

I got up to Edmonton Tuesday night and dropped the bananas off at the yard, phoned in and was told there was nothing to bring me back to Lethbridge that night. It was pointless hanging round the yard so i skipped round to the Flying J and parked up for the night.

Next morning when i switched the sattelite on there was a message from the night before saying there was a load for me.............................. bloody typical isnt it.

Anyway i phoned in and got another load south, picking up booze from St Albert, collection time was 10:00.

I bobtailed round there only to be told that my load would be ready at 17:00, oh well back to the Flying J, cleaned the cab up and spent the next few hours on the internet.

Went back round at 17:00 and got the paperwork, i also got a 10-4 call from John Penny who was up in Edmonton and just doing a trl swap.

I had to scale off anyway so we arranged to meet up at the Flying J and drive down together. Well i scaled off and led the way back, despite following TomTom's instructions i still managed to take the wrong turning (twice) but soon enough we were heading south and chating away on the CB.

5 and a half hours later we were in Lethbridge, John parked up and went home and i refueled and trundled round to the Lethbridge Trailer Terminal and dropped my trailer on a door.

By the time i was parked up and Jan came to pick me up it was 03:30 in the morning so i just managed to get a couple of hours sleep before our appointment a the mortgage brokers.

The appointment went well and we got what we wanted, we are in no particular hurry to buy but we wanted to know roughly what price range we were looking for and what it w likely to cost us, you know what i mean, all the usual preliminary stuff.

Went to Montanas Cookhouse last night for supper, we absolutely love that place and Luke even ate a skillet of spicey shrimp which was surprising, i didnt even think he liked them.

Today has been a lazy day so far, i havent even been ou of the house yet but i think we have o go shoping later anyway
