The Apple Peddler

Last night i pulled into a Flying J (or was it a Pilot) anyway whatever, i woke up this morning with 2 priorities, a shower and a nice breakfast.

I grabbed my Pilot card (there you go it was a Pilot) and went to book the shower. I was 4 in line so i had to wait a while. Eventually it was my turn to scrub up so in i went, scrubbed all my important little places and thoughts turned to food.

It was quite a busy little place with almost anything you wanted. There was fuel (obviously), a C-shop, a tire place, a coffee boothe, a sex shop and a motel. The only thing missing was a place to eat, so basically i could get diesel, coffee, a new set of tires and a vibrating rabbit, but i couldnt get bacon and sunny side up eggs.........................................

So with a heavy heart and a light tummy i gunned the mighty detroit diesel and eased 2148's nose southwards, hitting the cruise, the sirius and the CB ready to forrage for some breakfast. A few miles down the road i saw a MacDonalds, BurgerKing and a TacoBell so i swung the big red charriot onto the off ramp and into the town.

As i carefully abandoned (only joking H&R) 2148 down a side street as close to the BurgerKing as i could i noticed a nice diner and i thought "Oooooooooooo".

In i skipped and found a nice seat in the non smoking bit, i dont mind smokers half of the time, its just when they breathe out!!!!

Anyhoo, the food was absolutely okay and the coffee was completely nice, the service was better than average and it was clean. What really caught my attention was these little story cards, i liked them so much i took them, well it says on them you could !
