What a State to be in

Scale and rest area at Broadus

Bullet holes in the sign

Little Big Horn (Custer's Last Stand)

Little Big Horn Monument gift shop

Well this is a great trip so far, everything has gone to plan, mostly, Im sat just by Mount Rushmore at the moment although i cant see it. i got a bit confused over delivery days earlier and now ive discovered im not delivering till Monday at 07:00, this means ive got 2 shorter driving days and i can relax a bit. So far i visited 2 new states today (Wyoming & South Dakota) and tomorrow i will be in Nebraska.

This is so weird, ive been on this continent 6 months and ive seen more of America than most Americans, and im being paid for it.

Over here in South Dakota it is real cowboy country, there are cattle ranches, horse ranches, everyone drives a truck (pickup) and more stetsons than you can shake a stick at. I drove through the Crow Indian Reserve this morning and that is one interesting place, i think i will start doing articles now on the Native American Nations as a follow-on from the Canadian First Nations.

  2. Hi Lyndon,
I found your blog through TruckDriver Blog. He's right, you have a great blog!! I've been coming by a few times each week to see your travelog.

My husband is an OTR flatbed driver who hauls mostly steel coils. He's gone 5-6 days each week. He too, takes tons of pictures of his travels, but doesn't have the time to get a blog together. Keep up the interestingly, good work!

Hey, I see that you have even been to my State!

    take care, and be safe.
