I made pretty good progress today, woke up at the Flying J in Barstow and 1028 kms later, here i am parked up in another Flying J in Willard in Utah. I tell you what though, its flipping cold up here, i need to get myself back down to that desert.
If can make the same sort of progress tomorrow i will cross the border at Coutts late afternoon, park up in Lethbridge and have the night at home.
I noticed the cold when i pulled up here, i jumped out of the cab, took half a dozen steps then dived back in to get my coat.

Might have a bit of a problem with the camera, i think ive worn it out, some pics might have a dark spot in the centre but its done over 10,000 photos so ive had my moneys worth, better write a letter to Santa, if i tell him i'll give him a mention on the blog i should get a good one.
I'd stay down there Lyndon in the warmth matey, coz it's bloomin freezing and snowy back here in the bridge!!!!

ReplyDeleteat least you werent in utah during jan or feb cuz there have been some crazy snowstorms which caused a lot of the freeways to be shut down for a time. november is just when things start to cool down here :O

ReplyDeleteOh believe me i was there, i cant wait for the Spring. As a side note, you got some weird road numbering going on down there. The town where i live (Raymond) was founded by Utahns so we got the same numbering system.
