Driving up thru Montana this morning i made a grim discovery, Bambi is no more.
This is a common site over here especially at the weekend and apparently this is how it works.
Hank and his buddies organise a huntin' trip, stock up on beer and food for the bbq and head off into the woods for the weekend.
A few critters, usually deer, get cheeseburgered.
Throw 'em in the truck and head home.
Most rural towns have a "Game Butcher" who will cut the animals into joints and all the trimmings get turned into sausage, mince or burgers. I believe the cost is between $50 and $125 for the service and this can be offset by offering the butcher parts of the carcass.
Everyones a winner........... except Bambi of course.
