Flying J Saskatoon

How about that, i didnt even know there was one.

Its the first time ive been to 'stoon and i was heading for the Husky, imagine my surprise when i saw a huge billboard advertising this place. I switched the TomTom off, pointed the noisy end of 3045 onto a new heading, swivelled the baseball cap round so it was on backwards, gave a little "heehar" and put the hammer down.

Actually no thats rubbish but it sounded funny, i just followed the signs up TCH 11 till i saw the big J sign and pulled in, so i got internet again tonight.

TCH stands for Trans Canadian Highway before anyone asks.

I left Winterypeg this morning and trundled off to Husky to fuel up, then it was north west on TCH 16 up to here, 777 kms or about 500 miles i think, a long way anyway.

The road passes a few towns but other than that its just asphalt (tarmac) yellow grass and some water.

I kept myself amused by taking a few pictures and listening to a CD of the Dixie Chicks. A very very unaventfull day but quite pleasant.

Tomorrow is more of the same, fuel up a few km away then thru Lloydminster and into Edmonton where i will either tip to Walmart or drop the trailer off at the H&R yard and hopefully get a load back to Lethbridge.
